I woke before the alarm with vague memories of a dream.
Overall my day went well. I had some really good ribs that reminded me of when Ambrose would cook ribs. He used to cook the most incredible ribs back when we lived on Lee Street. Less as he became more health conscious in his eating.
I found myself with a deep need to go home. I needed real alone time. I enjoyed the time I spent there, but I needed to be in my own bed, in a place where I could feel Ambrose’s presence. I had a good, cleansing cry when I got home.
