I had several interesting dreams last night. In one, I and my sister-in-law were running from a man with a gun, who was after us because we were associated with someone who vandalized his property. In another, I was driving along a snowy road, sliding and barely avoiding collisions with other cars. And in the last one of the night, Ambrose was back from the dead, and suffering in the way that most do in science fiction movies where someone is brought back. That dream ended just as the alarm went off, as I was being held in his arms and sobbing, feeling such energy between us that I had to pull back.

I think that dream has been distracting me all day. I had to write about it before I got out of bed. I couldn’t let that one fade. Then I walked my mile, but I didn’t do the calisthenics. I’ll have to add those in tomorrow when I don’t spend twenty minutes writing in bed before getting up.

I listened to choir music during my morning shower. I need to start seriously working on my choir music every day, especially the songs that need to be memorized. I have two of them down pretty good, but I need to work on the other two.

I’m going to try fasting again tomorrow. Which might be more interesting because I have a morning dentist appointment. I once fainted after getting a filling, and they said it was probably because I hadn’t eaten breakfast. But tomorrow will just be a cleaning, so it should be fine. If I feel faint, I’ll eat so I can drive safely.

I did about 50 minutes of exercise this evening. Got nice and sweaty with slow, controlled movements and breathing. Before I started, I had a headache. Usually, a headache will go away while I exercise and then roar right back, but it hasn’t come back yet. I’m expecting that it will at some point though because the period is due, and I have been having menstrual migraines for a while now. It’s sadly reliable.

I took a quick rinse off afterwards, which was nice. Tomorrow is change sheets day, so I’ll get another load of laundry done. I’ve started setting a timer on my phone when I start the washer machine so I don’t forget to move things from washer to dryer in a timely fashion. As long as I then remember to start the dryer, I should be okay.

I walked to the mailbox during my lunch hour. I want to start walking at least twice a day, with an ultimate goal of three times a day on weekdays. That’s not quite 10,000 steps, but it’s a good number, especially when I go down the hill and have to come back up it. Oh, next time, I might walk my neighbor’s property, which has another good hill.

The mulch I put on my lilac settled a bit with last night’s rain. I’m resigned to not covering the whole thing. The important thing is that the main body of the bush is covered and protected. The exposed parts will just have to survive as best they can.

I finished the videos from the first day of the Snowslide trip. Next up is transcribing the notes, and then I’ll write the trip up and add pictures. I don’t think I’ll make a YouTube video for that trip, not yet. I want to get my write-ups done first. I feel like focusing on my backpacking trips and writing is bringing Ambrose into my dreams more frequently.
