I slept well in Boise. I had some interesting dreams. And I woke up before the alarm that I’d set.
I showered and got ready to leave. My other friend picked me up a bit before 8 and we went out to breakfast. I had a yummy croissant breakfast sandwich and fruit, plus coffee.
Then it was time for travel. I walked around the House airport a bit before sitting at my gate. Then I flew to San Diego. I’d never been to that airport before, but I didn’t have much time to look around. I bought myself a smoothie and did my Move U exercises for the day while charging my phone.
The flight from San Diego to Chicago was long, but I got through it. I abstained from eating or drinking. I decided to wear a mask on the plane, though I went without at the airports. That’s the level of risk I chose.
My parents met me at baggage claim, where we had to wait quite a while before my suitcase showed up. Then we went out to eat at a Brazilian place near their apartment. And then they dropped me at my brother’s home.
I got a shower and then snacked on some French nougat. I don’t have a bedtime tonight, but I might be running out of steam soon here.
I think wearing the mask on the place helped me not break down into tears. I didn’t want to get the mask wet. That would make it even more uncomfortable.
