Slept okay last night. Interesting dreams. I managed to find my way back into one after I got up to pee. Not the same spot, but the same dream. The headache went away overnight. I’m still feeling a bit sensitive, but the throbbing pain is gone.

Another day with a lot of meetings, though nothing like yesterday’s marathon. Some productive meetings, and some that made me miss former colleagues. And training, which I usually do on Friday was moved up to accommodate the trainee’s schedule. This weekend is a long weekend, and next week is scholarship deadline. It will be busy.

I got all my walks done, and my exercises. I’m finished with week two of the Shoulder Impingement program. Tomorrow I’ll start week three after my after dinner walk. It’s good to have a program to work through. Helps me to organize my days.

I’m feeling kind of stuck today. Like all the days to come will be just like the days that just passed. But I know I’ll feel better once the backpacking season is here. I want to get out to the woods and sleep in my tent. I’ve got trips to plan, but with the lack of snow there might be quite a fire season, which would impact where I can hike. I have some options for my ICT hike, but I also want to get to the Queens River Wilderness. And take my nieces out to Skillern, and maybe take a college friend out there as well.

I had a good zoom with my parents this evening. Shared some music with them, as well as the news since we last talked. Told them about yesterday’s anniversary. It feels weird to me to call it an anniversary because he’s dead now. We’ve been parted by death. It was our anniversary, but is it any longer?

And now I’m up later than I intended. Just sitting. Letting time pass. I’ll get to bed after I post this, but I should have posted it sooner. I’m going to be tired again tomorrow. Though it doesn’t seem to matter how early I go to bed lately. I still wake up tired. Almost three weeks without caffeine and I’m still just tired all the time.
