Very strange dreams last night. In one of them, Ambrose came back to me. Changed the timeline so that he would still be with me. My first question to him was whether I was still in trouble with the law; of all the things, that was my big concern. I guess I’m worried about it, even though I know what’s going to happen at my next court date. It’s still nerve wracking to have to be involved in that system. Another dream involved CrossFit, but I couldn’t get my area set up and the workout started before I was ready and I had to get a barbell loaded for bench press and I ended up lifting on a bed instead of a bench. Very weird.

i slept late enough that I didn’t feel like I had time to walk before family zoom. I ate toast for breakfast. I’d been buying a wheat bread, but yesterday I bought some buttermilk bread because I was getting tired of the wheat. Not so much the wheat as wheat, but the thickness of that bread. When I toasted it, it wouldn’t get toasty all the way through. Felt mushy in the middle. The buttermilk bread I bought is thinner and toasts much nicer.

My headache did not go away overnight. It was still going strong in the morning, so after I ate my toast I took the migraine medication. It really seems to help, as the headache is mostly gone now. I have some stiffness in my neck, but not the searing pain behind my eyeball. The medication enabled me to get my two hours of work in, so I don’t need to work early or late this week. I’m all set for the week. I mean, I might work late if I need to, but I don’t have to, if that makes sense.

I went for my walk around 4:30, and then did my Head and Neck exercises. I’m feeling very good with those exercises, though I’m curious if working those muscles is impacting my spate of headaches. I hope that if I strengthen these muscles that the headaches will go away or become less troublesome, but that will only be the case if they are truly muscular-related headaches and not actual migraines. The way they respond to the medication makes me think they may be actual migraines.

Today was mostly a quiet day. Another day of resting. I did do the whole hill on my mile walk today. I said hello to a neighbor who was out playing with his dog, and then I picked up a canine companion on my way – the corgi who likes to follow me when I walk by. He really seemed to want to lick my face, which is the one place I don’t want dogs licking. My face gets itchy right away when a dog licks it. I can handle licks on my hands, but I do wash them as soon as possible after exposure. That corgi was jumping so high; he could nearly lick my face off of a jump.

It snowed more today, so before I walked I went to clear off my shed tarp. There wasn’t as much accumulation there as I expected based on the porch, but I cleared off a pool of water and some snow. I hope to get some snowshoeing in tomorrow. A couple of walks. I think the cold is mostly over. I just hope the headache clears completely by tomorrow morning.
