A pretty good night’s sleep with more wild dreams. One of them seemed like it was a continuation of one I’ve had before. More running, but I don’t think I saw Ambrose.
I took a walk before breakfast. After breakfast, I waited to hear from my parents and brother. They alerted me around 11:30, and my in-laws gave me a ride to downtown to meet up with them.
After a lunch, which was technically breakfast for them, we spent the day walking around the market and down towards the battery. The battery itself was closed for construction, but we walked through the park.
In the evening, we met up with my in-laws for dinner. The food was mostly good, though they messed up my brother’s chicken badly enough that he had to send it back.
I’ve still got to do my exercises, but I got a good amount of walking in today. It will be a while before I can shower tonight so I’m staying up late.
I broke my necklace with Ambrose’s ashes again. I was taking it off to see how long it was because I wanted to get a replacement chain – not because it was broken, but because it was sharp and I couldn’t wear it overnight or multiple days in a row or if I was sweating. I cried when it broke, but I guess I should just get used to that. I’m rough on gear after all. I should get a titanium chain next. I did end up buying a replacement chain, so it’s back some my neck.
