I fell asleep fairly easily last night and slept almost all the way through. I woke up around at 4:30, and got a sketchy kind of sleep until the alarm went off. Lots of dreams. Ambrose was there, but didn’t talk. The color blue played a large role.
My color got called again, so I had to scrap my plans for the day in favor of taking time off of work to get my urine tested. I chose not to have any caffeine today, which went okay in the morning, but I was dragging by the afternoon.
Work went okay. I had a teaching session, and then a meeting that was a practice for a presentation essentially. Both of those were draining. Plus I’m on my period still, so that’s another drain.
I did get my hair cut today over the lunch hour. I’m so glad to finally get rid of the shagginess that’s been plaguing me. I’m back to my preferred state of fuzzy-headedness. A bit long in front, maybe. I think I might ask for shorter next time, but we went with a bit longer so it wouldn’t be sticking straight up.
I used the air conditioning to keep me alert on the drive to Payette and back. I’m really enjoying my current audiobook. At least that is something to look forward to on the long drives I’ve got coming up. To Boise tomorrow, back on Saturday, then to Boise again on Tuesday. But then I’ll get a break from driving.
Family zoom this evening was good even though I felt so tired my eyes felt like they were falling shut. But after the zoom, I went for a walk, and I felt Ambrose’s presence with me. I felt like he was walking with me. Supporting me on this like he supported me before.
