I woke up a bit before the alarm and dozed in bed a bit. Then I got up at the alarm and got dressed for my run. It was a good run. Faster than last week’s go at the straight out and back route. I beat the first mile’s time by about 10 seconds, and the second mile’s time by over a minute. I felt really good when I was done.

Last night, before bed, I moved Ambrose’s ashes from the cardboard box and plastic bag into the urn. I lit a candle and I sang my mantra for him. I’m glad that his remains are no longer in a disposable box, but rather in a beautiful vessel made with love from someone who knew him.

My day at work was a bit weird. Usually, I do my exercise release time on Tuesdays, adding a half hour to my lunch break, but I had a meeting from 12 to 1, so I moved my lunch to 1 to 2, and my exercise release time to tomorrow. I wore a dress for work, one I haven’t worn in a while. I think I’ll bring it to Las Vegas when I go for the conference. It’s a nice, but casual thing to wear. And I can put on leggings underneath to combat the air conditioning of the indoors.

After work, I did some mowing. I forgot to start up my app, so I didn’t get an accurate record of how long I took or the distance traversed, or a nice little map of my steps. But I still did the work, and I manually added a workout with guesses for time and distance. I thought it was going to be in the 90’s while I mowed, but the wind started picking up and I didn’t even sweat all that much. I’m a little over halfway through round 2. I think there are parts where I won’t end up mowing because I’ll be hoeing so much of it there won’t be anything to mow. That northwest corner is just so rutted and rocky. I should probably bring the hose next time I hoe over there and spray water. I wonder how many of the rocks I’ll be able to move.

I did breathing mostly for my exercises. All while on my back. My digestive system is full of gas and I didn’t feel like standing for the Move U exercises. Now it’s time for bed. Do it all over again tomorrow. I’m looking forward to next week. I’ll be off work and my parents will be in town. I hope to show them some sights and maybe get some advice on things to tackle at the house.
