I got up at 6, but I don’t feel like I did much today. I’m accepting that. That today was mostly a day of mental and physical rest. With some bawling and tears.
I did do some tidying in the kitchen, and continued to grab and prepare gear for when my nieces come to town. I’m going to rent a larger vehicle than the one I own so that we can be comfortable. I don’t think everything plus three people is going to fit in my Crosstrek, even with the adjustments I’ve made with my gear. It will be a bit nerve wracking to drive an unfamiliar vehicle up to Big Creek, but I will have a lot of miles under my belt with it before I have to drive Profile Gap.
It was cold enough this morning that I had to turn on the heat. There’s been spatterings of rain throughout the day. The sun has not made an appearance today.
I hope to take a walk in the morning and check my mail.
