I have clear memories of three different dreams. The first one had some Ambrose, but it’s also the least clear of the three. The second one involved trying to park on a snow-covered parking lot, and trying to find someone in a dorm. And the third involved my ex-husband and a search for a missing dog.
It was foggy again this morning. And cold enough that the fog left everything covered in a delicate white frost that lasted until lunchtime when the sun came out and melted everything. I enjoyed it while it lasted.
I had a lot of meetings at work, but they were all productive. The afternoon ones were hardest because I had been struck by exhaustion around 1:30 pm. I felt like my head was too heavy to hold up. The feeling hasn’t really gone away through the afternoon and evening. But I got through it all and got my conference purchases made, which means I’m all set to visit Orlando in March for work.
Today was my usual day for washing my sheets and towels, and I not only got that load of laundry done, I also did a few more loads. My clothes are all clean now; I just need to put everything away and I can finally be done with unpacking from my trip. I also loaded the dishwasher and might run it tonight.
Tomorrow, I’m going to drive out to Nampa. I’ll visit with my friend and do some grocery shopping. And get gas. I might need to get gas before I get to Nampa. I’m running low. My plan is to get home with enough time to get to the transfer station. I have a lot of trash to dump.
I’ve been watching my videos from Day 2 of the Snowslide Lake trip. I’m going to finish watching the videos, then reread the notes, and then do the write up. I like watching the videos. Reliving the trip. I think I’ll share some of them with my family on Sunday when we zoom. If I can remember which ones are the good ones. I mean, they’re all good, but some are better than others.
On that day of the trip, I suspected that Ambrose was giving me good weather. I had thought that I would get very hot approaching the 9000+ foot saddle because it was mostly exposed and I’d be hiking it in the afternoon, but cloud cover and chill winds made for a rather comfortable experience. Now if he’d only send me some snow right now, I’d be pleased as punch.
