I didn’t get out of bed easily this morning. I didn’t really do a breakfast. I was starting to feel very out of sorts.

But I also spent some time practicing scales on the flute. I chatted with my neighbors. I went to another neighbor’s retirement party and chatted with folks. Some new people, some I knew already.

I rode the trike into town for the party. It wasn’t raining when I left home, but it was when I returned. Not too hard, but it felt harder the faster I pedaled. That was an inside joke for Ambrose and I. As a teen, a friend of his was driving stoned in the rain, and marveled that the rain rained harder the faster he drove. We’d joke about that whenever we drove in the rain.

I had a good family zoom. I’m getting into the habit of doing dishes and making dinner during the zooms. Having people “around” helps me do the things I have to do.

I haven’t done my exercises yet. That’s up next on my agenda. And then it will be time for bed.
