I did get up out of bed this morning before 7, so that was a win. But then I took an extra long shower so I didn’t have that much time in the morning before work. Just enough to eat breakfast and prepare my various morning drinks. I made some decaf coffee this morning to go with a banana muffin and that was delicious.
Maybe the decaf is why I’ve been feeling tired all day. I made my lunch sandwich before work so that I could eat it while working over my normal lunch hour so I could attend the Move U Office Hours, and I was so tired at 1 pm that I almost ditched the zoom in favor of a nap. After attending Office Hours, I wished that I’d taken the nap, because we didn’t do any exercises which means I still need to do my Move U time today.
Work was meeting after meeting after meeting. Seems like everything is coming to a head at the same time after a few months of waiting for things to be ready to test. Now everything is ready to test, which means I need to set up test cases and files and run them and troubleshoot them and I am training my newest person to do those, she is not nearly ready to do all this solo. But we’ll get there.
After work, I thought about ditching the hot springs in favor of napping, but I decided to go after all. Then, just when I get down the hill my tire pressure light went on. I used the portable air compressor that I keep in my car to get it filled, but now I’m paranoid about it. I have to get to Fruitland tomorrow morning for a mammogram, so I left the compressor out and ready to go in case I need to use it again in the morning.
I had a nice social time at the hot springs and also got some reading in. My current hot springs book is The City We Became by N. K. Jemison. It’s set in New York City; interesting so far.
When I was on the way out the door for the hot springs, I had to stop and take a picture of a partridge that was on my deck railing. He was strutting around and chirping, and if my front stairs weren’t out of commission, I would have gone around so he could stay there.
