I woke up around 1 last night and couldn’t get back to sleep. I tried for a while in bed, and then gave up and went to the living room to read on the couch. I don’t know how long I stayed up, but I think it was at least an hour before I felt sleepy again.

So I’ve been tired today. I had a caffeinated tea with breakfast. But I also got myself to do a mile walk in the drizzly dark, so that was good. The support beam on my shed seems to have done the trick, though I’m not sure there was enough rain to give it a real test yet.

Today felt weird. I finished my packing in the morning before work. I’m essentially camping at my friend’s place in Boise because the room no longer has a bed. But that’s kind of fun for me. And I had goodies to bring that I’m going to give to my team tomorrow. I also brought some fruit leather and dried pears for my friend.

I walked to the mailbox at lunch after I ate. I figured it would be good for my digestion to walk after eating instead of walking and then eating. I like to do it that way because then I’m done, but it is better to walk after eating. Then I played a bit of Silksong before it was time to go back to work.

The afternoon was very meeting heavy, but they meetings were good and productive. I left work a bit early so I could hit the road before it got really dark. I had to keep the temperature in the car low so didn’t feel sleepy as I drove. Especially when it got dark.

At my friend’s house, I ate some leftover rice, lentils, and cheese for dinner and we chatted and caught up. Good conversation. I’m going to get a quick shower before going to sleep. I think I’ll sleep well because I’m so very sleepy. I decided to leave the eye drops at home (I did today’s third before I left). I’ll do the three drops on a compressed schedule tomorrow after I get home.
