I’m pretty sure I dreamed last night, but not sure what about. I hope I have an Ambrose dream tonight.
Today I went on a hike with a new hiking buddy and her dog. We did the loop from the Brownlee Campground, which I think gave us a good sense of each other as hikers. I’m comfortable with both woman and dog. I had a good time.

When I got home, I took a bit of time for showering and recovery. Then it was time to get moving on this week’s meal prep. Last week, my entire routine was thrown out the window, but this week I get to reset. I prepped my oats, and boiled my eggs for breakfast. I’d decided on tortilla pizzas for dinner, but the tortillas at the local grocer were all really low in fiber. So I decided to make my own tortillas and add flaxseed to it, ground up.
I’ve never made tortillas before. Ambrose used to make roti, which is kind of similar. He made good roti. And I think I made some pretty good tortillas. The flax adds a crunch and flavor that I really like. The homemade tortilla crisped up well when I cooked the pizza. I made more vegetables than last time, so I decided to freeze everything above about 600 grams, which would give me 6 pizzas with 100 grams of veggies each, which is plenty given the size of the tortilla.
I got the dishwasher running after I ate dinner. I do need to do about three loads of laundry from the trip and the last few days. I’ll get to work on that tomorrow. I’ll also do the next ankle exercises tomorrow. I did the shoulder work today, and I figured I’d just do the ankle stuff tomorrow so I have a specific workout for tomorrow instead of improvisation.
