Today was a full day in Cambridge. We had breakfast at the Saddle Rack in town, which was good. We worked inside the house. My dad helped me out by organizing the chaos that I’d let Ambrose’s office space dissolve into. I trusted him not to throw things away. Claudia and I did some organizing and cleaning in the other rooms while he worked.

We did a trash run; I had to show my license since we were in a rental. We stopped at the general store and the lumber store in town, as well as Kelly and Diane’s ‘garage sale,’ where my parents made purchases. We had lunch at my house; I made sandwiches. Then we visited with neighbors, and then the hot springs. Afterwards, nothing was open for dinner so we went back to the house and I cooked.

It filled my heart to provide dinner for my parents. It has been so good for me to spend time with them. I’m having a really good vacation. Tomorrow, I hope to provide them with some nice views and a bit of hiking.
