I slept in instead of doing yard work this morning. It was 33 degrees. Not ideal weather for hoeing. But mostly I was just tired. I didn’t want to get up. I feel like I could have slept all day.
But I got up and got ready for work anyway. Got some testing done, and worked with my team members who picked up new computers recently. Lots of things to set up with new computers.
I’ve been massaging my calf diligently, and I think I’ve got the painful spot worked out. I’ll keep working on it. I’m not sure if I’ll run tomorrow morning or not. Maybe I’ll run in the afternoon instead. It’ll be in the low 40’s in the morning, and the 60’s in the afternoon. I’d rather run when it’s a bit warmer, especially with the way the wind gets around here.
I’m not sure what I’ll do in the morning. I’m not making a plan. I’ll wake up and see how I feel.
I say a Say’s Phoebe on the deck this morning, and again this evening when I was on family zoom. In the morning, I was so charmed by it that I forgot to be hysterically crying about missing Ambrose. I did a quick grocery trip after work to get another loaf of bread and restock on my protein smoothies. I’ve started packing things up for Memorial Day camping. I’ve made a list and started gathering up the needed items.
After family zoom, which was very nice as my sister-in-law made a rare appearance, I went outside and did some hoeing and rock picking with an audiobook going. It’s going to take a long time to work out the ruts, but it will be good for me to work at it. Then I did some breathing for my exercises as I couldn’t muster energy for anything more.
