Another morning where it felt hard to get moving. I’ve got some structure right now with some prescriptions I need to take in the morning, but mostly my mind is on the anniversaries coming up. Tomorrow, the anniversary of the day we met. Saturday, the anniversary of his stroke, commencing the days in the hospital until he died.
One of my friends asked what he could do; he’s in Chicago, so I just asked him to text me more. I am not going to want to be reaching out these next couple weeks, but I need connection.
Work was okay. I got back to my Shoulder Impingement programming during my lunch hour, completing week 4 day 1 of the level 2 program. It felt good, even though it was hard to get myself to do the work.
I’m heading out to the woods for tonight. I was going to see a movie tomorrow for the meet-iversary, but there’s nothing playing that I am remotely interested in seeing. So I’ll go spend the night in the woods and hope that the air quality is a bit better a few thousand feet up. I have a couple movies downloaded that I might watch tonight. And I can hike in the morning if I like. I want to be home by 2 or so. Time to get to the transfer station and to get to the hot springs for the 4 to 6 timeslot.
I might set up the tent in my yard tomorrow night. Sleeping outside might help with how I’m feeling. But I don’t really want to do that if the air quality continues to be poor. I’ll have to weigh my options.
