I had a headache after choir last night. Not a traditional headache; more of an intense soreness on my forehead. I think it was from wearing the eye patch for so long. Despite the pain, I was able to sleep okay. I switched back and forth from one side to another, marveling that I could fall back asleep with my head hurting like it did.

I still have an air bubble in my eye. It’s a lot smaller than it was, but it’s still there. So I’ll be sleeping on my sides again tonight. Here’s hoping it’s the last night. It’s amazing how much I want to lie down flat on my back.

Work is exhausting. Especially when I’ve got lots of meetings. I had three today. Though one was more of a training session.

I wish I could scratch my eye. It’s so itchy. I think I’m using a lot of my energy throughout the day with the effort of not touching my right eye. But it is looking better today. Still healing and yucky looking, but better.

My brother and I did a zoom this evening. It was nice to chat with him. I need to get my niece’s birthday card in the mail soon. Maybe I’ll walk to the mailbox this evening. I’ll have to take it nice and slow up the hill. Maybe take a walking stick.

I took a shower today. Afterwards, I did a saline flush by letting myself cry. My tears are always lurking, just under the surface. All I need to do is let them out and I can flush my eyes with homemade saline, courtesy of Ambrose.

It was rainy today. I heard thunder in the morning. There are supposed to be storms tomorrow evening. I hope they don’t interfere with the Midvale Farmers Market. I want some more of that lovely granola.
