Choir started up again this evening. I was very glad to see everyone returning and there were a lot new people as well. I got lots of hugs and laughs and good human contact. Plus I got to sing in a group. Overall a good way to end a day.
When I got home, I saw that the motion detector light that Ambrose installed (solar powered) is going to work great with the new ramp. I’m glad about that. I would have no idea how to fix it if it broke, so I’m hoping that keeps working for years to come. Once the deck is done, I might trench the cord. I know Ambrose planned to do that after the deck was demolished. The trench I did might be shallower under the actual ramp, but I think I can do a decent job and no longer have to worry about accidentally mowing the thing.
My niece got her birthday package today, which was perfect since today is her birthday. I may have set the bar for myself pretty high, but I’ll see what I can do in the future. No comment on the use of the Spam box though.
I do wish I was coming home to Ambrose after choir. That part is hard to get used to. Him not being here when I get home. It’s been over two years, shouldn’t I be used to it by now? I have a pile of pillows on his spot on the couch and I’ll sometimes sit over there leaning against them. Might be time to change things up.
I need to write a trip report. And I still need to create a folder for pictures from the nieces trip. So many things to do. One breath at a time.
