I woke up about 40 minutes before the alarm this morning, but I decided to go back to sleep because I’d been a bit late getting to bed last night after the event in Weiser. But maybe I should have gotten up. Maybe my body wants less sleep at night. I did feel tired most of today, but maybe that’s because I got too much sleep?

I made my lunch before I ate my breakfast so that I could eat my peanut butter and jelly sandwich at my desk between noon and one while working, and then use my lunch hour to attend a Move U event. I’ve got some more direction on getting my shoulder fixed, and I implemented a bit of it this evening with a 5 minute static hold. Posture is about endurance, not strength, though I hope to build both.

Many work meetings today. I made some progress writing performance evaluations for my team. My goal is to finish those by Friday. I really don’t want to be working on them over the weekend, which has been my bad habit the last few years.

I feel like I’m in this waiting zone. Waiting for probation to be over. Waiting to have a call with the new lawyer to discuss my petition for a withheld judgment. Waiting for the next three day weekend. Waiting to dream of Ambrose holding me.

I was down to my last bit of salmon tonight. I tried to eat it in a salad, but I put all the remaining onions in and it was too much. I didn’t eat it all, though I tried to get most of the fish. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with what remains. Maybe I’ll try heating it up until the onions get less sharp.

The hot springs were lovely this evening. Nice and hot. I mostly read my kindle and drank my NA beer.

It did snow overnight, and I got to take my morning walk through the snow. That was nice. I saw bunny tracks and bird tracks. But it’s all melted now. We need a lot more snow than that if the basins are going to get to a decent level.
